These setbacks not only posed immediate dangers but also delayed crucial heart surgery.
At just 11 days old, Dax underwent the lifesaving operation, successfully addressing all four heart defects. His recovery spanned a month in the hospital, followed by ongoing monitoring by specialists to ensure proper development, particularly post-stroke.
Despite his tumultuous start, Dax, now 5 years old, has thrived, meeting developmental milestones with ease. His adventurous spirit knows no bounds, as he enjoys playing sports and exploring without limitations. Remarkably, he embraces his medical journey, proudly showcasing the scar on his chest as a testament to his resilience.
