The company has added Crushed Hatch Chile Pepper and Crushed Thai Style Chili Pepper to its lineup. These new products follow the successful release of Crushed Jalapeño Pepper in 2024.
“McCormick Crushed Red Pepper is a staple product in many households,” the brand said in a statement. “These two new products will add to the brand’s growing list of spicy options.”
McCormick also shared ideas for using the new spices. The company suggests adding Thai Style Crushed Chili Pepper to soups, sauces, and curries for extra flavor. It also works well in noodles and stir-fries.
For Hatch Chile Peppers, McCormick recommends adding them to sauces, vinaigrettes, or marinades. They also suggested using a spoonful in egg dishes like frittatas and quiches for an easy flavor boost.
Among McCormick’s four crushed pepper varieties, Hatch Chile Pepper is the mildest. Crushed Jalapeño Pepper follows, while Crushed Red Pepper offers more heat. Thai Style Chili Pepper is the spiciest of the group.
The two new spices are available now on McCormick’s website, Amazon, and at grocery stores across the United States.
