The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has announced a nationwide recall of a widely used baby product due to a serious safety risk.
Felton Grimwade & Bosisto’s Pty Ltd is recalling all batches of the Euky Bear Warm Steam Vaporiser, Model number EBSV2013, after discovering a fault that may cause the device to overheat, emit smoke and fumes, and potentially disintegrate.
According to the TGA, if the vaporiser overheats, it may expose users to smoke, toxic fumes, or burns if internal components become exposed. No other model numbers are affected by this recall.
The vaporiser has been sold at major retailers including Chemist Warehouse, Priceline, and Terry White Chemmart.
What to Do if You Own This Product
If you own the Euky Bear Warm Steam Vaporiser (Model EBSV2013):
- Stop using the device immediately
- Unplug it, cut the power cord, and safely dispose of it
- Do not return it to the store

This recall follows a similar issue in 2023 involving the Euky Bear Warm Steam Vaporiser – Humidifier, which was recalled due to overheating concerns.
Affected batch numbers: 230301, 231101, A231101, B231101
You can find the batch number on the underside of the blue heating module, next to the power cord.
Owners of these earlier batches can also contact the company to arrange a replacement.
