CPSC Issues Recall on Three Baby Swings Due to Safety Hazards

by daisy

CINCINNATI — The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued safety warnings for three infant swing models sold on Amazon. The warnings were issued due to risks of suffocation and battery ingestion hazards for babies.

The affected swings are:

  • Biusikan Auto Baby Swing, Model BB701K
  • Drinany Infant Swing, Model S0008
  • Deenor Baby Swing, Model B009A

The Biusikan and Drinany swings were flagged because their incline angle exceeds 10 degrees. This creates an unsafe sleeping position for infants, which could lead to suffocation, serious injury, or death.

The Deenor swing was recalled due to a safety violation involving its remote control. The remote contains a lithium coin battery accessible to children, posing a deadly ingestion risk.

The CPSC advises consumers who own any of these swings to stop using them immediately and to dispose of them safely.
