May 9, 2025 — Influencer Hannah Campbell has announced the passing of her 10-month-old daughter, Elliana Rose, who died on April 7 from junctional epidermolysis bullosa (JEB), a rare and severe genetic skin disorder.
“In loving memory of Ellie,” Campbell wrote on TikTok. “She passed peacefully last night, wrapped in love.” Elliana’s journey had been shared with over 700,000 followers, many of whom followed the family’s emotional path and learned about the devastating condition through Campbell’s posts.
JEB causes extremely fragile skin and painful blisters, sometimes even inside the body. According to the Mayo Clinic, there is no cure, and treatment focuses on managing symptoms and preventing new injuries.
In a heartfelt caption, Campbell wrote, “I’m heartbroken, and I’m angry. No child should have to endure what she did. EB stole her from us. Let’s fight for a cure so no other family has to feel this.”
Throughout Elliana’s life, Campbell documented their daily care routines — from wound management and nebulizer treatments to syringe-fed hydration — and celebrated moments of joy and family adventure. “Making every moment an adventure, knowing each one is a gift,” she wrote in a video of a snowy family trip.
As Elliana’s health declined in late March, Campbell shared that they were “holding our girl close” and cherishing their final moments together. On April 7, she passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family.
In honor of her daughter, Campbell launched Elliana’s Hope for Healing, a fundraiser supporting EB research and families affected by rare diseases. The goal: to help cure EB by 2030.
“Every child with EB deserves a future without pain,” Campbell said. “Spreading awareness leads to research, treatments, and one day — a cure.”
