Dollarama Recalls Wooden Easy-Grab Puzzles Over Choking Hazard

Dollarama has recalled its Wooden Easy-Grab Puzzles due to a potential choking risk. The three-piece puzzles feature wooden knobs that may detach from the pieces, posing a danger of choking for young children.

The recalled puzzles, identified by item number 08-3032698 and UPC 6 67888 17495 9, were sold in Dollarama stores across Canada between June 2015 and January 2016. Approximately 23,952 units were distributed. Puzzles with metallic pegs on the underside are not affected by this recall.

Dollarama has received one report of a knob detaching, but no injuries have been reported.

Consumers are urged to immediately remove the recalled puzzles from children’s reach and return them to any Dollarama store for a full refund. A receipt is not required for the return.
