Traditionally averse to bold ingredients like goat cheese and ranch dressing, the attendee described sampling dishes such as caviar with crème fraîche and a strawberry burrata salad as a turning point. Even pizza dipped in ranch — once unthinkable — was embraced.
“I used to think I was a flexible eater because I loved fruits and vegetables,” they admitted. “But this weekend showed me I had more to explore.”
One surprising revelation came in the form of a spring salad with goat cheese, which defied expectations and opened the door to trying new salad dressings and combinations. This experience led to a greater appreciation for items outside the typical vinaigrette-topped greens.
Enter Costco’s latest ready-to-eat offering: a broccoli salad that’s quickly gaining popularity. Highlighted by the popular Instagram account @costcohotfinds, this grab-and-go salad includes a colorful mix of broccoli, kale, cabbage, asiago cheese, and dried cranberries. Walnuts and two packets of poppy seed dressing are provided on the side, allowing for a customizable experience.
The salad is priced at $6.49 per pound, with a recommended serving size of about two cups per person — totaling approximately $13 for a full portion.
Customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. “We just had this and it was amazing!” one shopper wrote. Another added simply, “It’s delicious!”
