A popular baby bottle warmer has been recalled due to safety concerns, with fears that the product could overheat and catch fire.
The Cherub Baby Anywhere Warmer Pro, available at Baby Bunting, Myer Marketplace Online, and on Cherub Baby’s website, is the product in question. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) issued the recall after reports of overheating issues.
The ACCC warned that if the bottle warmer overheats, there is a risk of serious injury, death, or property damage. At least one incident has been reported.
Consumers who own the affected product are urged to stop using it immediately. Cherub Baby identified the recalled model as the white version of the Anywhere Warmer Pro, labeled “CHWRBOTTLEPRO.”
In a statement, Cherub Baby advised customers to return the product at no cost. The company will provide a prepaid shipping label and, upon receiving the returned warmer, will offer a replacement unit.
