The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced a recall of approximately 1,420 Nezmdi electric baby swings due to a serious suffocation hazard. The swings have an incline angle greater than 10 degrees, violating federal safety standards under the Safe Sleep for Babies Act.
Additional issues include inadequate safety warnings on both the swing and its lithium battery-powered remote control, in violation of Reese’s Law.
