NASHVILLE, Tenn., May 26 — Over 4,500 cases of “Yellowstone” brand brown sugar molasses baked beans are being recalled due to the presence of an undeclared allergen, according to a notice from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The recall, issued by Vietti Food Group of Nashville, Tennessee, affects products distributed in 23 states, including Illinois. The baked beans may contain soy, which is not listed on the label. People with soy allergies or sensitivities could face serious or potentially life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume the product.
Product Details
The affected cans are labeled with a best-if-used-by date of February 17, 2028, which is printed on the bottom of each can. The baked beans were sold under the “Yellowstone” brand, named after the popular television series.

Midwest and South: Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Kentucky, Tennessee, Texas
Southeast: Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Virginia

West and Northwest: Arizona, Colorado, Michigan, Ohio, Oregon, Utah
No Reported Illnesses
Vietti Food Group says no illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported so far.

Consumers who purchased the recalled beans are advised not to eat them. Products should be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund.
