Snack Recall: Mould Contamination in Lekker Biltong Slices

Protea Foods Pty Ltd has recalled:

  • Lekker Biltong Slices Traditional (100g)
  • Lekker Biltong Slices Peri-Peri Chilli (40g)

Affected batches: 08 0804 and 08 0904

Expiry date: 11/01/2026

The recall is due to mould contamination caused by faulty packaging.

Traditional slices were sold at Coles in NSW, independent retailers in VIC and WA, and online in WA.

Peri-Peri Chilli slices were sold at independent retailers in VIC and WA.

Consumers should not eat the product and return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
