Families are invited to a free drawing workshop led by children’s book illustrator Rich Davis on Saturday, June 21, at 10:30 a.m. The event will take place at the Baxter County Library, located at 300 Library Hill in Mountain Home.
Part of the Summer Saturday Show series, the workshop offers live drawing demonstrations and hands-on activities suitable for all ages. No registration is required to attend.
During the session, Davis will guide participants through drawing exercises and share tips on illustrating children’s books. The interactive program encourages families to collaborate on creative projects while learning fundamental illustration techniques.
“Create special memories through children’s book illustrations, creativity, and hands-on drawing activities,” the library said in promoting the event.
The workshop will last about an hour, but families may come and go according to their schedules. No prior art experience or special supplies are needed, as the library will provide basic drawing materials.
